Acceptance
By downloading or using DiabestMeal ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
What the App is for
The App provides general nutrition information, a personal food diary, healthy recipes, and self-tracking tools (lab result reference ranges, body weight, estimated creatinine clearance) to help with everyday, diabetes-friendly meal planning.
Not medical advice
The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nutrition values are typical/estimated figures, not laboratory-certified data. Reference ranges shown for lab results are general clinical ranges, not a personal diagnosis. Always consult a qualified doctor or dietitian about your specific health condition before making decisions based on information in the App.
Accuracy of data
The App's built-in food database was compiled from general nutrition knowledge and public reference sources; it is a best-effort estimate, and values (especially for regional or less common dishes) may vary from actual nutrition content. Custom foods you add yourself are only as accurate as what you enter.
Your responsibility for your data
All your data is stored locally on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for backing it up (via the in-app export feature) if you want to keep it when switching devices or reinstalling the App. We cannot recover data that was never backed up.
No warranty
The App is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular medical or dietary purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any health outcome, damage, or loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the App or the information it provides.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always published at this URL.
